Silent and Sound Films

·         Late 19th century, silent films became popular.  At this time, narrative movie would play music fitting to the mood from a pianist or orchestra in the theater. 
·         1920s sound films or known as “talking pictures” during this time, were created and had become popular by the 1930s. 
·         1950 Color Television was developed and beings to become more popular than black and white films
